The most iconic item for summer, for me, is classic maxi dress, and this new maxi from Tres Blah does not disappoint! It has such a flattering shape, beautiful patterns and solid colors and a fun sheer overlay as a nice bonus. It's something you can wear for a casual day at the beach and transitions perfectly for a date night. Collabor88 just opened, and you can snag this dress for a discounted price during the event. Image Essentials has a great new pose pack out for Designer Showcase, called Kitty. It has 5 poses and their mirrors and is a great mix of sitting and standing poses. I'm using pose 1, and it shows off a long dress beautifully. Make sure to go to Designer Showcase and pick up your pack for 300L!

Truth just released a new style in his mainstore called Elixir, and it's an amazing messy up do. This is the style I wear my hair most often in RL (that dreaded thing) and I'm thrilled to have such a high quality version in SL. He's redone his textures and huds and even included new root options to the new color selections. Make sure to head to his mainstore to pick up your favorite color!

We're in full blown summer now where I live, hot temps, bright sun and lazy pool side days! I don't get as much time to lounge around outside soaking up the sun as I'd like but I fully take advantage of it when I can!

Blueberry released this amazing set at her mainstore called Elise, which consists of a highly detailed crocheted top, boho belt and denim skirt. You can wear the belt separately and add it to other outfits and you can change the color of the tops fringes and shells to fully customize your look, make sure to pick this one up, you won't want to miss it!

One of my favorite gacha events is in full swing and this cute canoe with tent from Trompe Loeil is just the cutest! There's no rares but they all sure are adorable! I was able to snag this one and couldn't resist going out for a quick float down the river!

Tres Blah is one of my favorite stores, they have such an effortless style. This cute dress is perfect for summer is currently available at Fameshed! It just opened yesterday so there's plenty of time to go get your hands on this and lots of other goodies from some of the greatest designers on the grid.

This is one of my favorite hairs from Truth, Aislin. It's such a fun, tousled style that's perfect for any look! It's a slightly older release and can be found in his mainstore. If you're part of the VIP group, keep your eyes out. The birds say that he's updating the Horizon hair and will re-release it in notices for group members, but remember that it'll only be available for two weeks in notices!

There's been times where I lived to get lost. I lived near a canyon (not the grand, but one that I think was just as beautiful) and my favorite thing to do was drive into it, park my car, and find a new trail and see where it led to. Most of the time, I found wonderful secret places that made me feel like I was the only one in the world. So, leave the roads behind, and take a trail less traveled, you never know what you might find.

We've had SO SO much rain where I live the last couple weeks, that when I woke up to sunshine this morning, I almost asked what that bright light was. Isn't it crazy how just a little bit of natural vitamin D can make your mood instantly lift? It was a bit on the chilly side, but I still just stood and soaked up those rays for a bit, and my soul feels better for it.

Tres Blah has this amazing new set at Collabor88 this round, and it's already become a wardrobe staple for me. The Aspin tunic and Flared jeans are a casual, breezy outfit that is just perfect for spring/summer. It's an effortless look, brought together with the cute details of the belt and you can even change the color of the bra that peeks through. My favorite part? Tres Blah has decided to make for the new Legacy body! There aren't that many creators out there that are making for it yet, so when you can find something, and something that is built well, I get super excited! Make sure to stop down at C88 before the round ends so you can pick it up for the discounted price.

I mentioned before that Truth has overhauled his hair, with all new textures, huds and even built in hair bases. This is Horizon, which was this month's VIP style. It's a casual ponytail, perfect for a hike or the beach, and can help pull together just about any look. It's no longer free for group members, but if you happened to miss it in the notices, don't worry, you'll soon be able to purchase it in the store, along with the general Second Life population. It's definitely a style that you won't want to miss out on!

I have got some new news from the Truth-iverse! Along with some amazing new hair. Truth just dropped three new styles, one at his mainstore, one at Uber and one as a VIP style this week. They are all gorgeous and have updated style huds, textures, and even an easy tinting guide! This is Oasis, and its such an amazing wavy style, that I'm going to be wearing this for quite some time. He's made them full alpha textures, and they are much lower in complexity than his older hairs. They have built in, optional hairbases and simplified color/styling huds so your screen won't be too crowded. He has streamlined textures, but there's sure to be something to catch your eye, and he's assured us that roots, ombres and even some multitones will be in the future.

If you're part of the Truth VIP group, you've probably heard the changes to the VIP styles. But in case you haven't, or you're thinking about joining up (because why wouldn't you?!) here's what you need to know. Up until now, the VIP styles have been exclusive to the group members. Only they received it or were allowed to purchase it after a new style was released. This limited how many hairs Truth was able to create for his store as well as events. So, from now on, one new hair will be released in the group notices for free to VIP members for two weeks, before its released in the store for regular price for all customers. You'll still be getting your free fatpack, while still allowing Truth to serve his full range of customers.

Oasis is a mainstore release for everyone!

I've heard a lot of guys ask why exactly it takes so long for us gals to get ready for anything. I'm sure some ladies spend a lot of time on hair and make up, but I know for me, its mostly because of the shenanigans I get up to in the bathroom. I always like to pump some good music while in the shower, and grabbing whatever prop is handy for my microphone! It always puts me in a good mood and I feel like I'm ready to conquer anything. The best part is, you can pretend nobody can hear you, so you can really go for those high notes that are impossible to hit!
