A little something about me that only a few people know, I'm a huge fantasy lover! I've been an avid World of Warcraft player for years and devour fantasy themed books. The best part about Second Life is that you can be whoever, or whatever you want! So today, I decided to channel my inner Drow and take a step outside of reality to explore a mystical adventure. 

Image Essentials is taking part in the Dark Side Event starting April 6th and it goes until the 30th. They have an amazing photo backdrop called Dark Gateway, and it's only 300L! It's incredibly detailed, look at that scroll work! It even has piles of skulls and candles, so it can be used for all your fantastical needs. They also have a couple pose sets out that compliment it perfectly, so make sure you stop by once it opens and check it out!

Truth has this amazing VIP hair out now for his group members, called Kaijah. It can be worn as a very pretty updo or as a beautiful long braid. It's a gift for group members, and is a whole fatpack! Nothing's better first thing in the morning than a hot cup of coffee! I can't be the only one that seems to need a cup of it for my brain to start firing on all engines. Just the smell of it is enough to perk my senses and get me ready for the day.

Image Essentials has some poses at Designer Showcase this month that are great for showing off your manicures! This one is Nail Showcase V2, which makes your nails stand out against a coffee cup, so you can show off those sparkly digits! Designer Showcase is open until the 28th, but if you miss it at the event, you can find it at the mainstore!

Have you heard of Vanilla Bae? Or strip me clothes? If you haven't, you definitely need to check them out! They make the cutest, sexiest clothes, that can be worn regular (like me here) or you can turn up the risk factor and let your partner slowly strip you out of those lovely bits. This is the Minnie cami and shorts set, which comes in lots of different color options. They just redid their mainstore and its a great shopping experience. Wow, February was an insane month for me! My RL husband (and SL for those that know me) had a stroke in February and spent almost three weeks in the hospital, three hours away. I spent half of that by his side, living in his hospital room while my family took care of our kids. I had to leave him so I could return to work and see our kiddos. I was finally able to bring him home a couple days ago and we're so so glad to have him back with us! He's making remarkable improvements, and has almost all of his functions back, thank goodness. It's an uphill climb but we're seeing the top of the peak! 

How cute is this new set from Blueberry? The denim overalls and the crop top are the newest release at her mainstore, and she even has them as a megapack with a 30% discount, but it's only available for that price for a couple more days, so better hurry and grab it!

Image Essentials has this great prop set available at Ebento, which ends soon! After the event it'll be in her mainstore for purchase. It's the Ole Truck Fountain pack, which includes an old truck with water feature, a pond and pretty flowers. Perfect for those rustic photos and includes built in poses! I'm using a pose from her Party Flirt collection, but there's 5 different poses included in the prop!

Truth released this great hair for this round of Uber called Zahlee and I'm in love with it! It can be styled multiple ways, has a cute optional scrunchie and is so full and lush. Uber is open until about the 23rd, and you can get it for a discounted price before he puts it in his store.

The first time I picked up a picked up a book and started to read, really read, that I can remember is sometime in elementary school. Our class went to the library and we were allowed to browse and look for something that would pique our interest. The very first "chapter" book that I can ever remember reading, was A Wrinkle in Time. From that point on, I read every book I could get my hand on. Nothing has really changed since then, except I feel like I hardly have time to dedicate to my favorite hobby! Between work, kids, family, housework and my SecondLife, reading seems to fall in that time right before bed, when I end up waking up with a book on my face. The thing I like the most about it, is that from your bed, the bathtub, the couch, your favorite chair...you can travel to different worlds without ever leaving your home. It's the cheapest plane ticket!

Nylah is Truth's newest hairstyle and its available at Uber until next month! It's a great, fun and long length hair that can be styled in so many ways that it'll feel like you have four hairstyles in one. You can wear it with the cute buns like I am, or wear them as long pony's for a fuller look. Uber opens the 25th of each month and runs until the 22nd when they close to set up for the next round. One of my biggest self indulgences is a long, hot and quiet bath that I can relax in for sometimes over an hour (or until the water gets too cool!) I'm a mother of two, one of my children being a special needs daughter, and the other a very rambunctious five year old boy who seems to never stop. On top of the kids, I also work full time, so you can imagine, things can get pretty hectic! When things get too stressful, I steal away to the bathroom, light a few candles, add a bath bomb or some bubbles to the tub and find my inner sanctuary.

Blueberry has started the year out with a couple great releases. I'm wearing the Evie high wasted jeans paired with an older release from her, the Aria button up top. I swear, nobody does denim like Blue, they look so realistic and fit like a glove! She made a cropped sweatshirt with an optional modesty piece to compliment the jeans, and currently you can get both fatpacks for a 20% discount, but it's not going to last long, so hurry and get them!

Image Essentials has made this wonderful mesh prop and pose set called "Apple Picking" and it can be found in their mainstore. It comes complete with mesh props including the apple tree, basket, grass and the water log, along with four built in poses for you to use. 

I'm wearing a past VIP hair from Truth called Ciara. It can be worn as a bun, like I have or a casual braid down the back that I featured in a previous post. It's no longer a free hair for group members, but if you happened to miss it, you can find it for sale for 500L for an entire fatpack, but you have to be a member of the inworld VIP group. One of my favorite things about the Holidays is the sales in the days after! If you're like me, you'll receive some money or gift cards and the best time to use those is right after Christmas because most stores have great sales on leftover holiday items! I love a good deal, and if I can get something half price a couple days after the big day, well that's definitely all right with me! I even am able to find Christmas gifts for loved ones for the following year at great prices. Just don't forget where you hide them!

Blueberry has some great things going on right now! If you go to the Linden shopping event Shop & Hop, you'll find five sims worth of shopping things at great sale prices and even find loads of free gifts. Blue has an amazing sweater dress fatpack available for free as well as a 250L store credit for all those that stop by! She even has some fatpack deals on some of her past gachas, which is pretty great for those that don't like to play the machines but want the items. Visit Blueberry at the Shop & Hop before January 4th to snatch up the deals. If you're not into the sales, visit her mainstore and pick up the great outfit I'm wearing. This is the Cece set, and it comes with this perfect trench coat with built in dress or shirt that you can also turn off, flat or high heel boots, and great boot socks to pull the whole look together! Nobody matches Blueberry's eye for details.

It also came with a cute light up headband that is perfect for any festive parties, and will look great for the New Year's Eve parties you're sure to go to!
