I have got some new news from the Truth-iverse! Along with some amazing new hair. Truth just dropped three new styles, one at his mainstore, one at Uber and one as a VIP style this week. They are all gorgeous and have updated style huds, textures, and even an easy tinting guide! This is Oasis, and its such an amazing wavy style, that I'm going to be wearing this for quite some time. He's made them full alpha textures, and they are much lower in complexity than his older hairs. They have built in, optional hairbases and simplified color/styling huds so your screen won't be too crowded. He has streamlined textures, but there's sure to be something to catch your eye, and he's assured us that roots, ombres and even some multitones will be in the future.

If you're part of the Truth VIP group, you've probably heard the changes to the VIP styles. But in case you haven't, or you're thinking about joining up (because why wouldn't you?!) here's what you need to know. Up until now, the VIP styles have been exclusive to the group members. Only they received it or were allowed to purchase it after a new style was released. This limited how many hairs Truth was able to create for his store as well as events. So, from now on, one new hair will be released in the group notices for free to VIP members for two weeks, before its released in the store for regular price for all customers. You'll still be getting your free fatpack, while still allowing Truth to serve his full range of customers.

I've heard a lot of guys ask why exactly it takes so long for us gals to get ready for anything. I'm sure some ladies spend a lot of time on hair and make up, but I know for me, its mostly because of the shenanigans I get up to in the bathroom. I always like to pump some good music while in the shower, and grabbing whatever prop is handy for my microphone! It always puts me in a good mood and I feel like I'm ready to conquer anything. The best part is, you can pretend nobody can hear you, so you can really go for those high notes that are impossible to hit!

Image Essentials has this super fun gacha at twe12ve called Bathroom Karaoke, that lets your inner diva shine through while getting ready. Last week, we had a blizzard, and we were cooped up for three days before we could get our vehicles free from the drifts that were holding them hostage. Today, it's a beautiful 78 degrees, and we spent a lot of it outside, soaking up the vitamin D and taking our kiddos swimming. Sometimes, sunshine is the best therapy for the soul that there is.

Happy 7th birthday to Blueberry!! The store has been around for seven years, and really, they keep just getting better and better. The creator is one of the sweetest that you'll ever meet and she's so talented. Right now, she's having a sale at her store in celebration, everything except gachas and the newest releases are 50% off. She also surprised everyone with this amazing new sundress. Truth's sale is still going on strong, and this hair is an amazing steal! The Margarita style, is a fun long, wavy style that comes with optional flowers for your hair. It's a great spring/summer style and I personally think it should be in everyone's closet!

I'm also wearing the new Legacy meshbody from the makers of TMP. It was just released, and I love trying new things. The unique thing with this body, it comes with deformers that allow you to wear 90% of your existing inventory, no matter the size. I'm wearing Blueberry's maitreya size and it fits perfectly. It comes preloaded with 12 different skin tones, lots of alpha cuts, and the deformers that you can wear. It's a little expensive for a mesh body, 5,000L, but it's really beautiful. Nothing calms my soul like the water. A hot bath, a brief shower, the sound of a fountain or the crash of waves. My mom used to tell me that I must have been born half mermaid, because she couldn't get me out of the water. There's just something about watching the waves lap the shore, hearing the sound of it, that just lets your troubles wash away.

Tres Blah is one of my favorite stores in Second Life. She makes such beautiful, wearable clothes. She's got everything to formal styles, to casual to fun boho items. Spring Has Come

It has been a long, long winter where I live. At times, it felt like it would never end. We got hit with a doozy of a blizzard mid march, the kind that you couldn't even dig your vehicles out because there was so much snow! But, even though it felt like it would last forever, Spring slowly took over. The birds are out singing, the sun is warm, and the leaves and flowers are blooming and making their appearance. This year, more than any other, the changing of the season is resonating in me. My family has been dealt a few setbacks this year, and its felt like things kept going from bad to worse and I couldn't see the light at the end. But, just like the seasons changing, things started to get better and more positive, and now the good is outweighing the bad. So when things are bad, just remember, the seasons will always turn and spring will always chase away the winter. Hold your loved ones close and embrace those good times.

Blueberry has been hitting it out of the park lately! This is the Laine set, and it's packed with so many options its almost like a mini wardrobe in itself. In my last post, I showed you Truth's latest VIP style in a fantasy color and setting, but I wanted to show it off in a more natural state as well. This is Kaijah, and it can be worn as a pretty updo or as a great long, loose braid down the back. Truth always includes lovely details like the long wisps, that you can keep long or shut off, and can even tuck behind your ears. It also comes with this pretty headband with butterflies, and has a color change hud to change the accessory or you can turn it off for a more simple look. The birds are saying that Truth is busy working on a new VIP style, so if you haven't made it to the store to pick this one up, hurry! I spent some time exploring a beautifully designed sim called Candlewood, and it's a photographer's paradise. It's landscaped with amazing details and there's so many nooks and crannies that will make a great photo. A little something about me that only a few people know, I'm a huge fantasy lover! I've been an avid World of Warcraft player for years and devour fantasy themed books. The best part about Second Life is that you can be whoever, or whatever you want! So today, I decided to channel my inner Drow and take a step outside of reality to explore a mystical adventure. 

Image Essentials is taking part in the Dark Side Event starting April 6th and it goes until the 30th. They have an amazing photo backdrop called Dark Gateway, and it's only 300L! It's incredibly detailed, look at that scroll work! It even has piles of skulls and candles, so it can be used for all your fantastical needs. They also have a couple pose sets out that compliment it perfectly, so make sure you stop by once it opens and check it out!
